Hi Gary

Basically the translation says that he is not too happy with what he's done and that the view is on the level with the stern roller looking up from below.  To put it in English it's only a fairly rough job as yet.  The view is from the stern,  (l'arriere)

Hope this helps a little......It's fifty years since I did my French at l'ecole... {-) {-) :-))

fraid not.  I have done next to nothing over the past few weeks.  I bought a large tin of easy light filler the other day which im going to cover the hull with (possibly this afternoon as im on holiday) which will hopefully give a smooth paintiing surface.

Hello

Gary I'm like the teacher of philippe (Philmar - http://picasaweb.google.fr/philmar130/PacificBANNER#  ) for the construction of his Pacific B supplier. He built the stern roller area according to his understanding of the drawing and following some pictures of model found on the internet. And he change all the area following my advices as the drawing don't reflect the right shape of the hull around the stern roller.

So if you have any question ...

Now I've just have a look to the pictures of the son of Ron1 ship and the hull around the stern roller is not reallistic <:(  (but look to the model drawing  :((

a+ Xtian

i actually saw her tied up in the harbour but she was quite far away.  Such a small vessel compared to some of the other ships down there.

Progress on the build lately has been minimimal due to exteremly nice weather!

I have just moved into a small 1 bed flat so the build is on the back burner for a while.  Im looking into converting my attic into a small workshop though.

She is stunning.  Mine needs alot of work before it will look as good as that.

The roller & general stern area have been giving me most trouble.  Alot of sanding!
