Hi Stavros here is what you need
Motors 2x Tornado Thumper 4250 Brushless motor - 720 watt motor, 600 kv @£37.97 each
link for motors http://www.overlander.co.uk/category.asp?cid=10&scid=85
ESC'S 2x XC80A Continue with BEC
link for esc's http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Programmable-Brushless-Car-ESC-XC80A-Continue-with-BEC_W0QQitemZ290252517529QQihZ019QQcategoryZ34056QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
Run 2x 4 bladed props 50-55mm.
It will go well with one motor, but with 2 it will go like stink
The esc's are forward and reverse and self programming.
hope this is of some help to you
kind regards

Stavros
Barry Boy has an alternative installation which uses Darke Horse 2.5:1 geared 785 motors on 18v. These work out at about the same price and power as the Thumper brushless jobbies and you can use any "normal" ESC to get full forward and reverse control. Maybe save yourself a few bob and raid your Electronize cupboard?
Steve J is a very happy chappie with his model.......and it doesn't even have any of our stuff in it!
PM me for further info if you like.

Hello

I've searched the forum, and cannot find any recommendations for the 34" Huntsman, its always for the larger one

Can anyone suggest a suitable motor for it and power source, intending on single motor, fibreglass hull, but it needs to have a fair turn of speed.

What can anyone suggest - starting with a clean sheet so open to any suggestions, and have no brand loyalties

Hi Peeps,

Some help please....  There is a guy on our pond who has been terrorising my RC Laser with his very fast Graupner JULES VERNE.  I want to be able to ZAP him with my Huntsman re-fitted with a suitable brushless motor in place of the 700 BB in it at the moment.
This, I know, sounds very childish, but it would give me some personal satisfaction!!

Stavros... have you got the magic ingredients?

Regards,
