Superchargers don't really work on 2 strokes, that's why we have pipes. There have been a few discussions on the US forums about RB Innovations supercharger.
Nitrous does work but not really suitable for our application as it can't be used continuously.
The 1/5 car guys have played with it here's one thread http://www.rctek.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4375&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=nitrous&start=10 and a couple of links to pics

Don't think I want more to potentially go wrong in a boat!!!

Andy,

Do you have
 "If a little is good, more is better and TOO MUCH is just enough" tatooed anywhere? :}

and a pipe.  I hope you are going to run plenty of nitro too

Nope that enigine's for 5% nitro. I'll see about getting some race blend fuel though.

And no I don't have a tattoo, but it's now written on my whiteboard...

It's a MAC pipe, and is so big I'm going to have to butcher the top hatch to get it on

The engine was bought off Greg at our club, and used to overpower a Manta too...

Andy :-))

From all of us at Stevenage. SORRY. Andy you need to learn how to drive a Fast OMRA type boat. It is not the same as your electric stuff that you have done so far.
Leave going fast into other boats to me, After all thats my job!  Don't forget if you hit the wild life ( which includes the local yobs) you get a warning from the Elf and safekeys then your OUT. Take a look in a bit at my Gas rigger page you may find something that will take some beating.
Joy health and slow down a bit.
PS this assumes that you finish the boat sometime this year!!!!

Now look you lot, given that the currenet world record for a flash steam boat is 120 mph, and we have seen some sort of sense and teathered it round a pole, we have learnt a bit about fast stuff.

OK thats round a pole, and us stright running type chaps gave up at 20 mph. Now having seen what Bill can do, what Andy proposes to do (and what he wants me to do with a springer) do you lot think that maybe the 1 1/4 mile lake at Llanberis might not be quite big enough for you Your'e all mad, but I love it

Now about this brushless in my 30" multi-----any idea's

No the lake is a bit too small, go get your shovel and make it a bit bigger for us...

And as for springers, thats going to be my next project, I have plenty of engines that will go in one quite nicely, and a couple of sensible ones too!

As for the multi, how big, how fast, and how expensive?
