Got me waterproof gazebo this morning, already now just need to charge the boats batteries :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Hi Brian

Funny you should have got a Gazebo. I've just bought one today and have just tried it out in the garden to make sure I know how to assemble it (don't want to look a prune putting it up).

Mine is only 2 x 2 metres, but as long it keeps the rain off, should be OK.

Do you think 'Pasting tables' will be strong enough ?

Regarding the event ....... I shall be bringing 'Marks smokie' for demonstration purposes, and will have some brochures for you all to see. Anyone want me to bring up any orders you may have with MMB please?.

Pasting tables should be fine, so long as you hide them out of the wind.

I couldn't afford the side panels ............ ooh er    :((

I haven't seen plastic tables, but they sound the bees knees. Where do you get them from ?

I just want to keep Nord Icelandia away from fast stuff, it will take around 10 minutes to get from one end of the lake to the other at full power.

I has got radio in (27 meg, I'm not that modern)
I've also just crammed one of Marks (see Stavs perkasa thread) motors into a 3ft long hull (straight runner of course) going to try it on 18v then pep it up to 24v. First outing (after the bath test of course) will be sunday at St Albans
Ready and tested for Wicksteed   :-))

I'll be there from Friday morning and I'll be there to the end as well Martin, so helping hands ready
I'll bring my barge that I knocked up from Mobile Marines kit of parts (I think mines better looking than the one in this months model boats--Kenny looks good though) :-))

I'll also be putting up a little marquee in the camp site for late night boat style chatting
Radio mic sorted along with tea urn and all the bits (inc cups etc)

Not long now chaps

 :-)) :-)) :-))

2.4 Ghz Ghost, I bet thats got more valves in than my 27 meg set

Now andy I want you to put all you packs where I can see them, I think 24v is mad enough (I'll bring a spare motor just in case you sneak up on it late at night)  :police:

if that thing fires up, i have visions of it doing one of two things:

sinking due to the bow wave

or

emptying the lake with the rooster tail.
