My Micro magic is under way

trust me these are a good kit to start out on very basic plans, plenty of help on the internet but i must say buy the metal ruddel linkage upgrade

This is her 5 days out of the box

and this is her 3 days after the test sail with a new lick of paint

she should be ready to race very shortly

Nice looking boat. With a decent looking hatch cover.

Micro Magic are great looking boats, way over priced but non-the-less....

... is that a Springer life guarding to port?

Yup that is a spring on "life Guard duties" :} :} :}

but i definately disagree with you martin about being overpriced i have to say as a class the micro magics are a good way to get into racing model yachts without spending more than a small fortune  ;)

mine was AUD $ 315.00

and hulls for one metre classes are ranging from $800-thousands with no hardware or sails at all where as if you buy a micro magic all you have to buy extra is a radio set and you can race

I'm very taken by the ide of a micro-magic too.  Big enough not to be too fragile but small enough for our sailing water and the car boot.   I just wish I'd bought one last year when I first thought about it.    v rates mean it's about about 30% more expensive now  :((
