strange behaviour of guests
« on: January 27, 2009, 08:01:06 pm »

hi there Has anyone else noticed that an awful lots of guests seem to viewing Martin builds the Bismark - they are viewing it all at the same time and about 14-15 guests sometimes....have a look.

I wonder if there is a bug in the system somewhere or genuinely guests looking - when logged on as a guest you cant see the pictures.

I've noticed that before John, perhaps they're not very bright and don't realise that there are pictures ........  {:-{

one person can show being on line several times by opening more links, maybe they are not closing links, you can get this in the early hours of the morning whee you see 29 people non members viewing the same link.

Yes, we have noticed that. Some enquiries are being made. Very odd though.

I just logged out and then back in as a guest , and could view the pictures no problem , unless the forum software recognises my ip address and allowed viewing .

I think it's Martin putting the viewing ratings up on his Bismark thread ;)

Could they be web bots for search engines - especially in the early hours?

Certainly is strange behaviour. More to this than meets the eye. Several of them viewing right now. We are also having quite a few membership applications from Russia at the moment.

However, our Great Leader Martin is on the case and he fills me with confidence.

I believe this year you will see Martin sporting the latest in urban camouflage wear.

You will still be able to see him part of the time, as he will be wearing this in the country as well.
