Use the widest blade your machine will take ,make sure the top and lower guides are set correctly and let the saw do the wor
 you can improve the cut by carefully trimming the odd high tooth with an old oilstone

A fellow club member uses a router to produce his planking the trick is in using feather boards made from MDF and a sacrificial fence.
The planks are spot on.

No the feather boards are made from MDF they hold the wood in position as it is passed through the router.

Just a thought with all this planking cutting , what do you think about using a tool i saw on the tv the other night ,exact saw.
