They are redeveloping the entire northside of the clyde in glasgow.
Included in this redevelopment is the new transport museum site along side a
lesure park. Why then instead of filling in all the docks along the way put a
ship that was built on the clyde (plymouth and intrepid to name 2) along side the
transport museum then you will have the best possible idea for a museum ship.
they are moving up a tall ship the glanlee but it will still be a seperate body from the
lesuire park and museum

See, the ideas are there OK, but from the replies I would suggest that local councils are the last people to be entrusted with the task.

For a country that was such a naval power of the few hundred years or so [ till the americans got there way] i find it sad that we are the worse for prevserving that history,
and why some ships are scrapped but still spend millions on others, example CUTTY SARK, i would love you vist some of some of the saved ships but most are just to far away for me, or out of bounds if you live near me, keith
