If you can open the case,.either photograph or read the number of the main integrated circuit then I could say if expansion was possible.

It probably has a processor and cannot be adapted beyond 3-ch.

There is very little chance of converting a 3 channel TX into a 5 channel TX, especially a modern one.
A 5 channel RX should work with it, but only 3 of the channels will work, assuming that they are both working in the same band.

Your original post just said you had a ' zebra 3fm receiver' and 'a 5 channel zebra zr 106receiver'. The question you posed was 'how do you get the 5 channels working  i would like to use all if possble thanks'. Other members of the forum have given their opinion to the effect you can't use all 5 channels of the receiver if you only have a 3 channel transmitter. Perhaps you may want to re-read your original post, and ask youself whether you could have worded it a little better. If you don't follow the basic rules of written English (e.g begin a sentence with a capital letter, and end it with a full stop), mis-communication may well occur.

Yes - the Zebra 3 is a three channel transmitter.
It can transmit three channels only.

The ZR106SF is a SIX channel receiver... not five.
(That's the reason there's a 6 in it's name)  ok2

You can use a Y-lead to connect another servo with the battery...
The 'slot' for the battery plug says BATT/CH6.

Nevertheless - you NEED something that will transmit 5 (or 6) channels to use 5 (or 6) of the servo functions that the receiver allows.

Keven. :-)
