Andre,

Not sure until I see them later this afternoon once I arrive back home.  Ayi had been taking care of them while we've been away, but am certain they were hiding under any cover they could find.

It started to quieten down, here in Zhengzhou, at about 1.15. But did continue at a lower level all through the night.

Now daylight has arrived it is mostly the firecrackers and arial bombs.  But it still continues almost non stop, and it will do until tommorrow morning.

I would hate to imagine how many megatons of gunpowder will go off in China at New Year.  O0

Hi TT and Chuck and any other members in China. Happy Chinese New Year. Also today is Australia Day here in Oz and I understand India National day. What a day for celebrations the world over. Most of us Aussies will be having a BBQ and cooking up lamb chops and a lot of amber fluid will be consumed. The supermarket around the corner from me ran out of lamb on Saturday which is no suprise as there has been an ad campaign stating that it is un-Australian not to eat lamb on Australia Day (tongue in cheek of course).

Regards David

Well it is day/night four and the fireworks continue.

Durin the day, about every minute you hear something. But now night has fallen, every few seconds. The echo of one has not died before you hear the next. And the smell of cordite fill the air.

And there are no stick on the rockets either. There is just a mortar for a bag of powder lobbed up in the air. sometimes 200 ft.
