Carbon Kevlar tip required
« on: January 25, 2009, 02:33:16 pm »

Hi, First post here.

Looking to line and fit the engine rails in my mono.
The hull is epoxy glass and I have ply rails to install.
I want to fit the rails first with Carbon Kevlar twill and then line the hull with small cut outs to go over the rails making a neat finish.

How do you cut the Twill? to keep it neat?

A pair of long scissors should do the trick, mark it out first and be as careful as you can. Use the whole of the length of the scissors, don't do short cuts.

Hope this helps :-))
