Which Hull, (lifeboat)?
« on: January 27, 2009, 06:50:59 pm »

Hi all,

I'm looking for suggestions on which lifeboat class to build a hull?

I do like the Waveny, Trent, Tyne classes.

This will be my first plank on hull. So I'm looking for in put for the best/easiest hull to do as a first time venture? What's the best materials to use and are there any special tools I need?
Does anyone have any tips or tricks they would like to pass on?

I'm going to complete my 1:96 Sirmar type 22 batch 3 first, but want to start researching my next venture.

All the help I could get will be much appreciated.

Yeah I read this article along with others I found through Google.

Most of them found dificulties Because there was no straight lines to work from, (keel/deck). Does that make sense?
