'calling all Russians'

Anyone speak (write) Russian on Mayhem?
 We are getting a huge amount of traffic from the various Russian states and it would be nice to welcome them aboard.

Martin if the Email addresses are @mail.ru , @yandex.ru , anything with a local time code of +/-12 hours then these will be spam accounts. I have had to continue deleting them for the last 6 weeks with the previous admin on Trawlerphotos doing the same for the previous 6 weeks and we are running close to 9000 spam accounts.....

Something else I just remembered , an IP trace will place the bulk of the accounts in Latvia , Lithuania , Serbia , Croatia , China with only a few being in mainland Russia

Hi Davie,

Yes we too have had a huge amount of spam accounts attempted, only a few have got through but looking on my server stats, 10 out of the top 12 'Linkedfrom' site are Russian model forums. (I do have IP & *mail.ru blocking)

I've had a couple of hits on my build from Tula and Sakhalin in the last few days...presumably Mayhem has popped up in a forum in Russia this week?
