mayby some people think that because I am building the Bismarck and the fact that i am dutch. I am some kind of nazifan. for the people who think this this is far away from reality. I am only building the bismarck because it is just a beautifull ship.  and I am a real england fan. My favorite music is: gues wath? the greatest band there ever was ofcource:  THE BEATLES
england is together with france and italy in my top 3 list of greatest country`s ever. ( The netherlands are at number 6 because of the bad weather and cold winters)

so now everybody knows I am just normal

so now get back to just the thing this website is made for. modeling.

next pictures of number 58/61 will arive next week. see you all next time
and thanks for reading

Can I mention the artist that painted this particular painting which is titled "Open Fire."  It was painted by Philip Trappett.  He has actually produced this painting as a limited edition print.  Details are on my web site http://www.buildthebismarck.co.uk/ if anybody is interested in purchasing a copy. (and just in case anybody is wondering, I'm not on commission !)

I don't really get the connection here.  I just thought you were a modeller, and a pretty good one at that  :-))  I'm not sure that any modeller coudl be called normal though.  Well, that's what my wife says {:-{

I'm enjoying your build thread - your Bismarck is coming on a treat :)

Kelvin,

I am sure nobody thinks you a Nazi sympathizer. Keep up the good work on what is a fine model of a great ship regardless who built it and why.
