I was thinking of naming the 'Flote after my ladyfriend, but her  name is so long, the boat isn't big enough... <:(

But, and earning myself valuable house points into the bargain, the ferry is to be named after her  %)

  Hi Rich,
     Re the lady's name careful think tattoo's. I got told off on the forum for mentioning Terry Pratchets Mathematician from Pyramids by his real name (Terry's choice not mine) You B*****d, I had to re read the chapter twice until it clicked. Age hey! Last thing you want is to offend SWMBO. Good choice with the stern she looks much better without the tyre you even have me thinking of building a Springer at some point, you never know.
       Cheers,
           Peter.

What...what on earth is happening? Martin...ban him..ban that Mr Rickles!  >>:-(  He's got an unhealthy obsession with bricks...

Hang on Ned, I have the heat cover made ready to install, but it can't be fitted just yet...patience old chap, hold tight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now..where was I? Oh yes...pusher knees are fitted, just the rubber strip to fit once they are painted. All the handrails are now fitted, apart from the one around the cab front, and that I can't do until later. Fuel fillers are fitted as well...painting time is rapidly approaching.
The pontoon effect refers to the tendency of a vessel whose flotation depends on lateral pontoons to capsize without warning when a lateral force is applied. The effect can be sudden and dramatic because the vessel is stable and self-righting as greater lateral force is applied, up to the point that the pontoon(s) on one side of the vessel are completely submerged. At this point, stability suddenly disappears and the vessel rapidly capsizes.[1]
Watch out for lateral forces Rich %% %%
