My Word, George must have been really working his sox off lately and to have his efforts noticed by their Lordships so early in his
career as to be promoted from "Roger the Cabin Boy" to Commodore..  is quite something.. {-) {-)

Do you think after a few "wets" to celebrate his promotion George might give us verse of that well known sea shanty 3 times a lady by Commodore Lionel Rich Tea.. {-)

Btw Rich now George has been promoted you will have to get the "Bunting "To55er"" to hoist the Commodores pennant as shown below.

Unfortunately it only has one ball as per ditty about a little German Corporal, so maybe we should go and see Albert Hall who apparently has a spare one... {-)

There will be no rogering of George...the very thought of it! Anyway, it's illegal... %)

We do have a nice flag to hoist at the opportune moment...trouble is, we don't have a flagpole.  :embarrassed:

Now...thanks to Ian, the heat shield material was duly delivered last night. It's funny stuff to cut, it crumbles if you're not careful, but I did manage to get a piece out of it which is just about long enough.

I'm happy with the end result, so as soon as I know the good lady's ETA, I can recommence spraying (she refused to enter the bedroom after my last spraying session...I don't blame her, it did stink the place out)

Made a start on glazing the cabin, not sure if it will show up in the pictures. George insisted on having a window open, something about choking fumes in the cabin...not sure I know what he means.

The glazing panels slot into place behind the wiring conduit, so no need to glue them in, and no unsightly glue on show when you look through the windows.

Hope the lady doesn't get any romantic ideas today, I've just sprayed the cabin...the bedroom stinks of paint fumes now.

It's a Bangalore Phaal - pronounced "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-aaaaaaaaaaaaarl."

It is, I understand, a curry concoction of such fiery intensity that you could heat rivets by holding them about a foot above the cooking pot. Any closer and they would melt.  O0

If you can remember what happened to the Nasties who opened the Ark of the Covenant at the climax of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" then you'll get a pretty good idea of the effect of a Phaal upon a normal human body. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0APF3SO9tq   :o

Recommended only for rugby players and those annoying relatives who turn up unannounced, expecting to be fed ("I know! Let's get an Indian takeaway!").  8)
