So what's the big deal?

Does anyone remember how shocked we all were when we were told that we had the first openly one-eyed Prime Minister in British history? No? Probably because it was deemed 'not newsworthy' by the denizens of Grub Street.

They have yet again (deliberately?) confused "something which is in the public interest" with "something that the public might be interested in". 'Lizards and smelly socks' as Dennis Thatcher was wont to call them. I'll stick to 'scum'.

I get so fed up with this sort of tripe; as if it mattered a tinker's cuss who she cuddles up to at night.

Good luck to her. At least if she's gay then she won't be inclined towards doing to the Iceland economy the same thing as their last PM did.

Just saw that on the News In Denmark; Islands First Femal PM. Relevant!
Not a word about her orientation other than her political one!

I reckon that one Dottir is much the same as another.  :-) The important thing is, can she do the job? A real bed of nails.
