Full Size Equipment Photos
« on: March 22, 2009, 06:58:57 pm »

While in Gibraltar last month I took some detail pics of my ship.
It kept me out of the "Angry Frier, Cannon, Horseshoe" etc
I have 55 so if you want any detail pics just ask.
Pics like these:

Dan,
Until recently she was the RMAS Newton (an old Admiralty Cable Layer now 32 yrs old)
Now called SD Newton (Serco Denholm).
We were in Gib, weather lousy and a long walk into town from 45 Berth.

Hi Bob,

In the background of your last photo is a vessel called the Asturias whichIi photographed in the little harbour at Muro in Galicia in April 2008.

Dicky,
32 yrs

Yes A367.
I don't want to appear to be a real pratt but I cant say her role now, it is however documented and a quick search should tell you.

Just to prove that masts DO have external wiring!! Check first pic.

Mercy sakes alive! Who was the electrician responsible for that mast wiring? And whoever said it was okay to use zipties on a SHIP??
My gaffer would have had his guts for garters.  O0
