tug towing at aston park on the wirral

if anyone fancies watching or maybe participate in bit of model tug tug towing. theres a towing event on at aston park west kirby on the wirral on sunday the 3rd of sept. things kick off at about 10 o clock. wether permiting it usually is a very good day.

Hope you can post some photos. Wirral, West Kirby was where my mother in law grew up I think, some many years ago - also lived on Hilbre Island in early 50's.

Hi Martin:
Some time ago... I ventured long distance from Holyhead and ended up at a very pleasant venue of West Kirby to watch a towing competition, the organisers must be praised for even organising the warm weather.
