Ryanair are taking the P
« on: February 27, 2009, 03:54:27 pm »

Actually, they are not... unless you pay them for the privelage..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7914542.stm

They had better not pass the Captains hat round after a flight.. or they might get a 'donation' they were not thinking of...  ;D

I see they are closing all the check-in desks as well - presumably so you have no one to complain to at the airport.

"The local ASDA per chance??"

just like they done to the post office?

personally I hate to fly with a big 'H' but with having to attend hospital for regular
[monthly] treatment for the last 14 months, driving [1700 miles a month] was just crippling me financially as well as physically,
 so I bit the bullet,

and the cheaper the better suits me at present, so what 'prunes' pay an extra £5 just to be the first to board, along with 150 others all paying the extra £5, Sick or wot!

Saw this this morning - a brilliant bit of advertising from Ryanair. Several hours worth of publicity for absolutely no cost to the company.  :-)) :-))

Good for the Beeb too - no need to do any reporting or actually find news. Just regurgiated the obvioulsy fake press release.

Think about this (i have no idea) if there are 250 passengers on an airplane and each of them make 1 trip to the loo for £1 then the airline will recieve £250. , yeh but if your total flight charge went up by £2. would there still be as many complaints  {:-{ .
now the last time i flew our little party never used the WC so we did not pay for something we had not used , easy go before and save a pound  :-)) .

Daz it the thin end of a wedge. What next extra for a window seat. pay for the reading light. You say you save a pound. Ok Some cheep skate airline are thinking of long haul . Hold it in there? All so with all this you pay to use this and pay for that etc i don't see there prices coming down. If it was a £1 for the toilet that should make the return ticket £2 cheep. Personal I HATE ryanair and will NEVER EVER USE THEM and that the reason they PENNY PINCH

What if the plane goes to another country and the return flight is full of people from that country? There would be a chaos trying to find a Pound coin????

 Erm, cheap flight, expensive journey?

Especially for the cleaning bill for the inside of the cabin???

Hate to think how much they might charge if you require the life jacket as well.
