Hi Rob,

Yes, i am building Agamemnon the drawings by John Haynes for Lord Nelson can be bought from Marine modelling magazine plans section i think?

2 sheets deck plan and profile, not sure about the current price mind so you will have to check up on that.

As for photos they are tricky to come by as.....these two ships were not exactly cover stars as a certain new HMS Dreadnought stole the limelight and these two were to become the last proper pre Dreadnought battleships built by the royal navy.

I will have a rumage to see what i can do for you, but don't hold your breath as i'm quite busy at the moment!

Hope this helps

I ordered the plans from Nexus last night online .
At 10 this morning i received a phone call from a very nice man at Nexus , informing me that MMI had done a 6 part write up on the build of this model and would i like the copies of the magazines.

As a cynic you could say its being a salesman, or you could look at it as a way of helping.

I was impressed.

I have just loaded up on my computer a set of photos of the IWM builders model of  Agamemnon at  1/.48 scale that will be on my site www.johnrhaynes.com  in due course. These photos show the model before and after restoration which I undertook in the early '80's. If modellers want photos talk to me at ----johnrhaynes.shipmodels@virgin.net and let me have their e-mail addresses. I also have all the IWM actual ship photos LN and AGam..

In my on-line shop are fittings /boats etc . Specials like the domed vents can be available but a lot of the fittings are not in my shop since the demand  just wasn't there.

There are a number of builder's models of pre-dreadnoughts that might help with detailing questions. The IWM have a model of 'Russell' on the balcony and Vickers's superb model of 'Vengeance' is on display at Barrow. Here's 'Vengeance':
