Pennant No. K06
« on: October 02, 2006, 11:27:24 am »

Hi... Does anyone know which warship (possibly a Flower Class Corvette) carried this pennant number during World war II? I've searched through all my own references and checked the internet from top to bottom and still can't find anything.  :(

Help anyone?? Cheers, Brian

Richard, you're a star. Thanks very much - and that explains probably why I couldn't find it amongst the Flower class corvette lists (of all sorts of nations!) then, although K00 is HMS Carnation, K01 is HMS Acanthus.... etc., etc., etc., so I think I had convinced myself it was carried by a Flower...!!  ;D Nor could i find any reference just to the pennant number either.

Much appreciate the effort! ;) Cheers, Brian

Thanks Ron...

I have a few 'K' Pennant number combination decal options with, 0's, 1's, 6's and 8's available, so was running through the possibles! I've removed the short Fo'c'sle Flowers (at least temporarily - I purchased a matchbox Flower just recently - so now have two and I may just convert one sometime!)

Anyway, I was left with 06 that i couldn't put a name to - turns out she's not a Flower anyway!  :D

Cheers for the help, Brian
