Alan,

Thanks for the detail - she looks very purposeful :}

The props must be giving the motors a relatively easy time (i.e. not drawing the 40-odd amps that the motors can draw)

Are you pleased with the sppeed control you are getting?
My rather limited experience is that the speed control is excellent and reliable right up to the maximum - and mine is Taiwan's simplest and cheapest ESC,

Hi Andrew,

Yes the ones that I am using at the moment are very precise, easy to set up for dual starting on motors.
Hopefully see you at Wickstead. I will be at the Tyne & Wear show in a week and a bits time. (28th/29th)

kind regards

Hi Alan,
The older square shaped Seakings have the click twice to engage reverse, because that's really annoying in my opinion. Do these new ones have that as well? or is neutral at centre stick?

Hi Nick,
          they are the same,but they can take up to six cell lipo (22.2volts).
This one you do not ,but you need to reset each time you switch on.
I also know that you need to take out the heat sink,and fan cool the esc.   http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Turborix-AE-50A-Bi-directional-Brushless-Motor-ESC-AU_W0QQitemZ110298514687QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_Vehicles?hash=item110298514687&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262

Lifeboatpaul has them in his lifeboat

Hope this is of some help to you
kind regards
