This lot:
http://www.goldstarstockists.netAre worth a look. They also call themselves Time Tunnel Models. It is mostly Corgi collectables, Scalectrix, Hornby, r/c cars/trucks etc, but also a few boats. However, they do cheap but good r/c gear, both 27MHz and 40MHz, batteries, motors and a huge range of Tamiya spares which include things like bearings (I've used them in various reduction gearboxes), shafts, U/J's etc. Staff there are extremely helpful, but email, don't ring, it is a shop and they're always busy. At the risk of blaspheming, as this is a model boats forum, they sell some fab Tamiya car/truck kits (of which I have a couple). Last Summer I saw 2 separate guys with scratch built ski-boats on scratch built trailers towed by Tamiya pick-ups: very good they looked too. At the Weymouth show last summer a couple of exhibitors had power-boats on scratchbuilt trailers running Tamiya wheel/tyre sets - made a nice change from a plain old boat-stand!
No, no connection with the place at all, other than as a very satisfied customer!
