This web site has a list of all ships built on the Clyde at least from the 1800's, I found it while trying to find the ship my ancestors went to Australia in hope it is of some help to someone. http://www.clydesite.co.uk/clydebuilt/index.asp

Nice one Brian! I managed to find three frigates that I was fortuate enough to pick up from Clyde shipyards brand new, during my RN career on the website.

And I found photographs that I haven't seen previously of the two steam yachts that my great uncle commissioned for use on Windermere.

A really interesting site!
