i've almost finished my 1/24 scale a.s.r.l. and not sureof the best set up to power it and what type of speed control to use .The model is wood built 33 &1/2 inches long,has two 30mm scale 3 blade props,the motors that are fitted at the moment are two 380's,i'm afraid electrics leave me cold.what i'm looking for is a reasonable running time and to be able to get up on the plane at full power.what was tried in the hull to test it out as recomended was a 6 volt 4amp gell cell controlled with an 8 amp Bobs Board speed control ,worked fine untill the board melted.Hope some of you experts out there can give me some ideas.

Same here, but they're cheap and easy to do.

Try an MTroniks 15amp esc, or even better get on to FLJ (ACTion Electronics), and get one of his esc's
