Revell Flower ? I've just started to put one together and the it's taking a fair bit of effort with clamps and a heat gun to get the two forward sections of the hull to the desired shape, the two rear sections were fine.

Hi Steve
Having got the two front halves of the corvette together after what i would call a harrowing experience and having spent what is a lot of money,i think that Revell should look at their quality control.Still i think that the rest of the kit should go together ok and i'm looking forward to the rest of the build. So keep going mate i'm sure we'll overcome good luck.  Mel

It's an old kit....

It's a shame that Revell didn't redo some of the moulds for the Platinum edition. IMHO, a new sprue D would have been better than the old one plus a new self adhesive veneer to go on the deck sections.

I have the prop shaft and motor mount in, next up is the rudder and deciding how much of the deck is going to be removable.

Hi Steve,
We seem to be keeping pace, rudder is the next move for me. I had this kit thirty years ago and goodness me i wish that i had kept the hull.
There is an artical on the Corvette conversion by Jonny Shoreboy which i have found a great help it's worth looking at .Well press on.
