Robbe Minicontroller 2A Help !
« on: April 09, 2009, 08:24:51 am »

I recently acquired a Robbe - AKKU 4.8 - 6 volt Minicontroller 2A (with no instructions), & would like to know if anyone out there can tell me how to set it up?
It is currently attached to two small 3 volt motors & powered by 4 AA batteries.
When switched on (TX first) the motors pulse continuously, with no neutral position & the case feels warm to the touch.
I have looked in side the case & found 2 potentiometers, which obviously need adjusting.
I would like to know which one does what & the correct set up sequence.

There is no processor so no required sequence,Noah. The Robbe MiniController  (PART No. 8297) is as old as........

By trial and error you will find they control span, neutral or deadband.

Thank you for the info, Stallspeed.
I have received a PM from Stan of the Kirklees Model Boat Club, who might have the Destruction Sheet !
Must make time to have a dabble over the weekend, before sailing with Fenland Marine Model Group.
