I don't have any plans of a ketch, but my father built a beautiful model many years ago may have been after the WW2 and before we emigrated to New Zealand 1951.
The boat is not longer around unfortunately.
From what the old memory banks can recall the it was
about 1200mm long
a beard & butter construction
a sheet brass fin and bulb
balanced brass rudder with quadrant steering
the hull was paint with dark blue topsides. white boottop and red underwater.
the decks where marked planks
timber spars all with brass fittings
All the fittings where made of brass, must have been made is his spare time in the merchart navy.
When I was young I used to sail it against one of my mates with his fathers boat, we would tie a fishing line to the bow a attach it to the stern with wool a let them sail away from on the shore at the end of the fishing line we would wind them back to the shore.
Later on when my building experience allow me I converted to sloop and bogged it to IOR shape hull.
It was lent to someone who modified more then I lost track of her.
Next time I am back in Auckland I will dig out some photos.
