Of my own I have always been particularly fond of my HMS Enigma. Very manoeuvrable, reliable and a set up that lasts for well over an hour as well as looking the part on the water.

Favourite of all time though has always been Harry 'O'.  A very nicely put together scratch build that has been weathered perfectly to give the model bags of character on the pond.

Mine are two tugs.one is the old Empire class tug,[not the one modelled by Mountfleet at the moment]
and the other is this little beauty, the APPLEGARTH, which belongs to  a friend of mine and which I'm selling for him at auction later this month.
the spirit fired steam plant with Vtwin engine was all hand built, and tug from scratch.
it is beautiful.
I only wish I could afford it.

Anybody know where Bob (Shipmate60) went? All his posts say "guest" does that mean he has left Mayhem?
He was going to send me copies of his RMAS Typhoon drawings so I could do a 1/48th hull for him but that was over a month ago.

For me,it has to be the little SHG King Midas tug, still chugging away quite the thing. I've never had a problem with this little vac-formed kit and she does the job quite admirably.

this big boy has to be my favourite  of all time........even have the full set of builders plans to build her..........the Steam tug / tender ... Romsey...she used to tender mail and passengers out to the ocean Liners.......I just love her and her lines........but even at 1:48 scale she'd come out at around 56 inches long from memory.

Mine comes from a radio show I used to listen to on Sunday mornings which lead to me liking Brooklyn Harbor tugs I think.
