Dear James,

For an upfront fee of 5k I will evaluate what you propose. I have 'connections' with the oil industy, and direct connection to 'people' who are already in Africa - indeed already drilling in Uganda. But, having been bitten before with 'proposals', I do absolutely nothing for nothing, and, if you think you really have something, 5k is nothing to get it.

Dear Mr Schmit,

My cousin is General Oti Omtaba of Nigerian National Gard and is a friend of the President. He will be pleased to pay you $10,000 in Nigerian Government Sinking Fund Security Bonds (guaranteed by the National Bank of Botasi), he also has a pipeline running under part of his lands and knows how irritating this can be for agriculture and will be very pleased to help you.

Regards, Bernard Omtaba.
