help to contact redbank
« on: April 23, 2009, 09:41:45 pm »

Firstly, I have used before and good service, and there is probably a good reason for this problem.
However, this time , I  ordered 1st April, ( maybe my mistake).
Spoke to him Thurs before Easter and he told me he was waiting for ordered part. Nothing since.
Tried e-mails, no answers. Tried phone, answer phone, so left message, no reply.
Sent message via their own web site contact, still no answer.
In these times of failing business, has he gone under, have I been forgotten.
Has anyone had contact recently. I heard that they use this site, so maybe someone knows them.
I not an impatient person, but 3 weeks is testing me.
If your out there , please give me a sign

Same problem here. Ordered parts 7 weeks ago. No response to emails or via website. In a phone call he said the parts were on back order and would be here 'next week'. That was two weeks ago. Since then, nothing. I'm getting the feeling that I can kiss goodbye to the money I paid, lucky it wasn't that much. Hope I'm wrong, though.

Before anyone says anything to put others off on a trader in these times of turmoils, think on lads! There could be numerous reasons why, don't assume the worst!
He could be ill, he could be on holiday, you don't know their personal circumstances, it could be anything, but, untill it is known exactly what you are dealing with, please help us traders to help you modellers out.

If it is a case that they have gone pear shaped, I wish them luck and feel for anyone who has got anything on order, but, if this is the case, his web site should not still be up and running.

It is a hard time for all of us in what ever we do, with what I do there is only me and only 24 hours in a day, there is also the odd web problem or two and emails do go missing quite alot these days never mind post, give it time and see what happens.

Like I said, it could be anything, don't assume the worst.

Apologies to anyone who has tried to contact me over the past few weeks by Email sales@redbankmodels .co.uk.  We have been experiencing problems with our email address but this should be sorted this week. Until then we can be contacted at garynorton201@hotmail.co.uk or 01253 751537 between 09.30 - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm
Due to personal circumstances and being plagued with illness since January I have slipped a little behind with orders and it has taken me a little longer than normal to Dispatch certain orders. My Daughter has been helping out as much as possible and we are hoping to get back on track in the next week.

Regards Gary.

Hi, All.
Just to update.
I should have put this last week, but whats a week here or there.
After 1 month,I did finally receive half my order after a few reasons  (illness was not one of them) and I am happy with the quality. Just not happy with the waiting, lack of communication, and being told that they have been sent when they had not and other things.
I am not going to get into a slanging match, I have got an email to say I may get other half after Friday.
We will see.
I will post either way.
It has been said on here that we should praise good service, well that works both ways.

Well, they're obviously still there as, after a few weeks' wait, they responded to my email, saying that the parts I ordered were still out of stock and would arrange a refund. Yet to go through, but it is Saturday, of course!

After 2 months, many emails (not answered), plus phone calls at my cost and excuses,  I finally gave up. I asked for a refund and got it , but I have to pay charge from paypal.
No apology and out of pocket. Will I use again?  Like  *£&$*%  will I.
