Yet again, us in the North East of Scotland have been shocked and saddend by the loss of yet another person, from the Beryl Alpha Platform last night a missing person was reported and now the search has been stood down just a day after the skipped of the RYANWOOD was missing from his vessel, just a month ago we lost 16 people from the ill-fated helicopter.

My thoughts are with everyone involved, family, friends, collegues, and the search and rescue teams,

My prayers are with everyone involved.

Lets hope this is going to be the last.

Say a prayer tonight, if you believe or not,

Dan.

Lets hope this is going to be the last.

Sadly,Dan it won't be, but we just have to hope and pray, and thank god for those who put their lives at risk in SAR for the unequivical service that they do in order to try to make our coastlines safer for us mere mortals.
God bless them all.
Neil.

The sea is a cruel mistress to those of us that went out to make our living from her. I have lost many many good friends to accidents at sea and it never gets any easier.

My thoughts go out to all of the families of those who have been lost this year and I am thankful that the body of the man lost from the Beryl Alpha has been recovered so at least his family will have closure.
