Appledore Built Pusher Tug/Workboat
« on: May 04, 2009, 11:53:11 am »

...Hi Guys...

Wee Johnny is about to start building his first model tug...

He has a small abs Pusher Tug/Workboat hull from Mobile Marine Models...

Does anyone have any information or pictures / plans of a Small Pusher Tug that was built at Appledore Shipbuilders in the 1960,s....

...Best Regards & Thanks...Norry & Wee Johnny...

Slightly OT.

Sea Mariner, I'd be interested in any info you may have on the Appledore builds, especially the hydroconic tugs of the 50's and 60's. I have the yard lists from that time and photos of most of the tugs, but any extra info/photos or whatever, would always be welcome.

Reason? My Dad was skipper of the Meeching, built there in 1960.

Thanks
Andy
