 Hi All
By any chance has anyone got a pic or diagram of the bottom of a single water jet powered boat?
Iam a bit worryed as there does not seem to be a lot distance (1.5cm) from the rear of the intake to the bottom of the transom
I need to be sure before i make the 1st incission
I hope someone can help

But Oh C*ck it looks like i will need to find another hull transome not deep enough & hull profile looks wrong for the unit 
Apart from that shes fast, stable & a very well balanced  old boat  It would a crying shame to start chopping her about.
And worked out i will need a stonking (700watt) motor & i cant see that she will run as well.
Ah well back to the drawing board.
P.S Anybody got a cheap suitable hull going?

I have an own design plan for a stealth type corvette based on the Swedish 'Visby' class that will hold that jet unit - in fact I designed it specifically for that unit and then had a change of mind!

If you want it, no problem, but you will need to download delftship to work with it.

Could you not chop down that hull?

Say by three / four inches? I would also chop down the freeboard by about 3/4 of an inch, make a multi style thing.

I have a jet unit the same as the one pictured at the top of this page.
This unit is designed to be on the outside.
What i mean is, all of what you see underneath the unit and the back of the unit is on the outside
of the hull.
You need to have a complete cut out for this type of unit.
Its not just cut a hole on the inside at the back and a hole underneath.

there is 5 holes underneath and 4 at the back.
this unit also comes with reverse bucket.
