I watched the FA Cup Final live last night (got to bed at 2am), and a replay of the Scottish FA Cup Final this afternoon, and the weather at both Wembley and Hampden Park appeared to be extremely hot, even by our standards. 8)

Im sitting outside building the new greenhouse as im not going in the house its a killer in there , the bananas and citrus seem to like it, the cucumbers seem to like it as well it will be better once they get in the new greenhouse though as i cant get in the house if its this hot

Spoke to my brother this morning (in Christchurch New Zealand) and he said it was freezing. I told him it's a lovely day here and I was going to fire up the BBQ and chuck a few shrimps on. Good times! {-)

Downside of a hot summer is more weed and maybe blue algae.  >:-o

At the moment it's 16 degrees, wet and miserable  <:( . Over 1100 mm of rain so far this year  >>:-( . We're told that sunny winter weather is on the way, in a couple of days  8) I hope they're right.

Yes, I spent much of the day hiking around the Devil's Punchbowl in Surrey, UK. Wonderful walk.

Watering can?

You mean walk to the tap , fill the can and walk back again !!! I though thats what mother nature was supposed to do..  In all fairness we are allowed to use a hose (well at the moment anyway)  and I suppose it should be good for the sweet corn.

Picture I took at Quarry Bank Mill on Sunday.

Lovely photos, Colin and The Long Build. Nearly as nice as around our part of the world  ok2

2 photos i took from a 737 on approach to Ballina NSW, at the mouth of the Richmond River. Sugar cane fields look beautiful from the air, and the weather was perfect.

Phew it's getting hot.

41 degrees today and still only about 40% humidity (thank goodness), with a nice breeze.

And we were complaining in our office last week because it got up to 25 and the aircon is set a bit high.
Still today has been a lovely one for the lake. Not too warm, the rain last week filled it and washed off the duck presents, my dodgy battery connector sorted. I only came home because it's the 20-20 final.
