I'm always fascinated where Martin gets his pics from and try to look where they might come from as some of them are quite interesting: But in this instance it looks like I found as rediculous as it looks with the aluminium hamster waterslide off the houseboat it looks like a kid might have been serously hurt here so we might not be so quick to joke in bad taste...

IPSWICH — A young man has been medevaced to a Boston hospital after an accident on the water on July 4.The man, 19 and from Ipswich, was struck by a propeller and suffered serious lacerations to his lower back. He was taken ashore at the Ipswich Bay Yacht Club.Video embedded below showed a boat out of control moments before the crash.

IPSWICH, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are investigating a boat crash in Ipswich on Saturday that left a man with life-threatening injuries after he was apparently run over by a boat he fell off of, officials said.
Officers responding to a reported boat crash near the Third Creek mooring area found a 19-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. The man was medflighted to a hospital in Burlington.

...The video of the boat careering round unmanned is alarming and probably a timely reminder why the dead mans link on an ouboard must always be fitted to you rather than looped roundsomething on the boat.

“The boat ultimately crashed into a nearby houseboat owned by the victim’s family, causing serious damage,” he added.

A good Samaritan stopped to pull the injured man from the water, police said.

...Absolutely superb pic I eventually deciphered what it was about since in that racing class! I knew tolerances were tight but it was interesting to see them in that class of boat thanks. Quite interesting reading.
