That is serious damage, but just shows how malleable the new silicon/aluminium bronzes are  :-)) ...guessing the other 2 blades will have similar deformation

[malleable= able to be beaten  <*< <*< <*<  into shape]

2nd/3rd Officer /JDPO/CHEMCO/TASCO/Oil Tanker/Chemical Tanker/LNG/LPGBsc. Maritime Transport/ Renewable Energy/ Sustainability

Just yesterday my vessel grounded in ESCRAVOS channel here in Nigeria, because of the struggle to get our vessel  out , our vessel vibrated heavily. I was telling my colleague that if we continue to force the ship out, we might get our propeller shaft broken and he was like it is not possible because the vessel is quite big and that the propeller shaft is very strong and can withstand the stress. Now I will have to show him this picture and  by the way we waited for the tide to rescue us, now we are out.

The yacht shows to have maintained a nominal waterline....look at the stern well deck, with a  ~~ 3000 kg's of weight [force] bearing down on the hull...
