Four port outboards anti clockwise, four starboard outboards clockwise, which way does the centre one go?!
(Making reference to my recent post about 3 props and their rotation notation!) :}

"Christ , you always have to go overboard with outboards don't you, just typical!"

mmmmm I think I can smell Petro $$$$$$$ here...and clearly not Neil's mate...The Sheik from Scrubby Creek  {-)..........

He can probably afford to replace his stern lowering shelf when the hydraulic cylinders seize up >>:-(......& the hoses burst <*< ......only a dingbat would place such devices under water & near the CNC machined propeller set...............

New incentive authorised by Lloyds encourage skippers to carry jacks on their vessels so they can change their tyres.

They are seriously large propellers for the beam of the vessel Martin.....gas turbine engined?...any chance of another peak or detail of the vessel?

The dock is not deep....& those two blue skid mounted winches were lowered into the dock for another task.....they would naturally be lifted out prior to the dock being flooded :o

Or is it a dock at all?.....the walls of the structure appear to be painted steel, but show no sign of water marks.......could it be just a build yard? :-))

Thanks Martin......as opulent as she is, would she be a good sea boat?......I mean not just poncing  ;D around the Med on glass like waters  {-)

Surface piercing propellers?.......technology way beyond me  :embarrassed:

Roy & Neil would know our largest inland waterway Lake Macquarie in a storm can produce ~~2m waves and being so shallow these can be down to 10m apart......so this vessel would need to shelter behind Pulbrah Island...or motor at say 3 or 4 nots into the swell

[The definition I use is for an inland water with a wave 1m high  followed by a 1m trough = ~~2m.....possibly some of our sea faring members will correct me here]

This is in the engine bay, a hydraulic hand pump........possibly for emergency steering?......[it also has the CE logo attached so the hydraulic output must also have an electrical interface]   :o

The Med can get very rough Derek, don't believe the brochures. It is subject to very strong winds for much of the year which can blow up out of nowhere - the Alps actually. We were on a fairly large trip boat from Ithaca to Cephalonia once and everyone was hanging on for dear life!

These huge 'poser' yachts spend most of their time in harbour. Many of them have only a limited number of ports they will fit into. When they do venture out they often drop anchor offshore.
