Evening All,

looking for some advise on my next project,
I'm look at building a ship that can launch a smaller radio control ship off the back, I like the look of the Robbe Berlin or Graupner Adolf Bermpohl, but the price is a bit rich for plus getting a bit hard to locate now a days.
 
does any one know a similar kit(must have stern door that can lower) or just a hull can can be converted which is the same size are the robbe Dusseldorf

might even go the HMS Fearless/intrepid if that would be easier

The revell 1:72 Herman Marwede has a daughter s&r boat on a stern ramp and is big enough to 'radioise'

What about the 1/25th Robbe Norderney which launches its daughter boat via a crane winch.

What about Models Slipway's  Aziz.

I've built this one and she has a nice flat rear deck. All you would need to do is cut away the stern to suit yourself.

an Oil rig support vessel could surely be modified to suit - I made a styrene one some years ago (can't remember the manufacturer's name) but I'd think the daughter boat would need to be very light.

thank you all for your advise, think I go with the Revell one as always want the Sar when i kid. just need to find one now
