Thanks to Shipmate60 for getting me into "proper" boats he sold me a semi built kit, which im enjoying building.
as its my first build im taking my time, apart from rubbing the hull down from its previous state im working on it when i get the time but not rushing it if you all get what i mean ;D

will keep posting pics up now i have a camera to play with havent figured out all the settings yet so picture quility isnt all that until i get the thing set up.

heres a couple to start with.

you mean you sold him a wreck?lol, its hard to see what the boat looks like mate maybe you should try a flash next time ,id like to see what she looks like  i like the looks of her shape wise at any rate.also yes put the shafts in first then paint that way you can fill and seal any gaps before painting the hull.i use epoxy putty to install all my shafts it sets hard in minuites and will never let go so make sure you line them up well first ;).

right had plenty of time to fettle with me boat while forum was down which is good.

shafts are now in and the hull is primered in grey and looking pretty good.

once on the new server i shall post some more pics up for you all, including some of the deck fittings that ive been making and painting up.

not sure if i can post up new pics yet  ???

not going to just in case trouble accurs.

building wise i have made a start on the winch system, and drawing the planking on the deck again (think i may paint the deck steel) but not too happy with it.

got a relativly quiet day today so i think i may paint the hand railings and paint the red water line on the hull.

oh yes its looking a bit better then when i started.

ive got this week off work so the building is going to progress, i already started the main winch assembly last night so will get some pics up later when i struggle to fit it all together.

only need to mount the steering servo and she is on the water on the test electrics 7.2volt
then when i know its all okay and not going to join the fish i shall upgrade the lot to either 6v or 12v.

just a update to let you all know how the build is going.

its been slow but im finally on the electric side of things so i can get her on the water, still got lots to detail and sort out plus buy a cannon for the from of her.

all things come to those who wait as the wife says, we all beg to differ sometimes  ::)
will get there in the end as theres always something to do even if it means cleaning the deck.

more pics to come

morning, been awake for a few hours so i thought i would do something constructive.

motors are mounted and ready for running.

trying to get her on the water for 2moro as the weather looks ok but still need to mount the steering servo ::)
on the other hand i might just use both my ESC's to take her out for a trial run without the rudders working.
