Tamar Lifeboat
« on: July 03, 2009, 05:35:53 pm »

After travelling down to Padstow to see my good friend Alan i had a guided tour of the Temporary Tamar stationed there whilst the "Spirit of Padstow" is back in dry dock having a modification on her fuel tanks... This will be my next build..

Superb records of a fine boat, thank you 6705russell. There are going to be quite a few future builders who will appreciate the works of reference you have provided.

Having been born beside the (River) Tamar, I shall build one myself....one day.

Thanks again,

Hi,

By coincedence i've just been watching your mate skipper the lifeboat with Robert Llewellyn onboard for Ch. Five programme Top Trumps- unfortunately they lost to a Sikorsky rescue helicopter!

Great pics by the way.
