I was in the Isle of Skye last week, took a boat trip out of Portree and we were lucky enough to see this:

These magnificent birds were re-introduced to Scotland 2/3 years ago,they were bred in Norway,and brought over here,they released some more this year,but as is the norm,the salmon fishers are complaining that these birds will threaten their livelihood,and last year farmers up around Glen Isla were complaining that these birds were targeting lambs,mm

There have been Sea eagles around Skye since I moved here in the eighties ,used to watch them in Dunvegan when I was a kid cracking film and hope the midges and weather didnt bother you too much ,,,,was the boat trip from Portree

Yeah we went from Portree, it was worth every penny to see them. The midges weren't too bad courtesy of Avon 'skin so soft' as used by the SAS!

The weather was great, warm, sunny, and only a little rain.

Came home with plenty of good malt as well!

Aye the Skin so soft is good just a pity about the fragrance lol  my mates thought I was winding them up when they came here to work till they tried take it it was the Star dust you were on or the Lady B both owned by the same man,also owns the chippie down the pier ,and a not bad fish supper from there too,,  at least the weather was fine for you
