What do you class as updated Russ?  Submarines are basically killing machines, SSBN's kill continents, SSN's kill other submarines and surface shipping. How much more effective would they be with curtains and doilies on the tables??

First guided tour on eldests boat at the time was Swiftsure, what struck you (metaphorically and literally if yer didn't mind yer 'ed) was the fact that there were sharp edges and pointy bits all over and you could damage yerself if you wern't careful. Can't do that in industry,"Remove all burrs and sharp edges" on all the drawings I had to do, but then after a little thought, it struck home, it ain't a caravan, it's a WARSHIP.

Forget the romance of the Jolly Submariner, the modern pirate of the seas in the sleek pleasure cruiser, engraving on a bullet costs much more per unit cost.

   Regards  Ian.
