USCG Fast Response Launch (Sort of)

Just to use up a couple of electric outboards plus various odds and sods here are the early shots of the FRB based on the dozens of photos on the USCG site.
Built to suit the motors at about 1/12 scale. Length 25 inches. Displacement about 4lbs. Hull is 4mm hard balsa and 0.8mm ply with litho plate skin. Lower hull is thanks to Kellogs, again skinned
with litho plate.
Unlike RIB's the floatation that slots in the sides and bow is bullet-proof foam and I'll use pipe-insulation with a skin for that.
I've no idea how it should go yet but it could be good, cheap fun!
