After 30 years I've nearly finished a Veron that my dad made me years ago. Built from some photocopy plans off Ebay.
Suspect I had it a bit easier with modern glues etc. Fitted with a Graupner 600 ECO and 7.2v batt so should go OK.

Nice example of the Police Launch, I wish I could get hold of one myself.

If you PM your address to me, I'll let you have a couple of the correct horns, and any other fittings that you need for this model with our compliments.  We used to supply Veron (Model Aircraft, Bournmouth) with the fittings for the Police Launch kit and still have all of the moulds.

Phil Smith, Veron's chief designer, now in his 80's, now has the rights for the Police Launch and does sell copies of the plans. I've mislaid his phone number though and can't contact him.
