Louise Heloise and Y2K

Hi, My OH and I have just starting sailing model boats although Mark has had a small yacht for a number of years. I thought other members might like to see a few pictures of our boats.
First up is my Y2K, I was lucky enough to get the chance to buy her from an excellent model maker. She is based on the Y2K hull from Waverley models ( who found her for me). She is a dream to sail and I am learning every time.

Next up is Marks boat, she was bought from a gentleman who had made her as per the plans but has never sailed a boat.  With a HUGE amount of help from a friend at the club ( and another 20lb of lead, new sail servo etc etc) she had her first outing last week, she still needs some modifications to make her better for real sailing rather than as a static model.

Nice Pictures & Nice Boats---- Pity about the Skippers. (L) plates look so unsightly ---The Cutter will look even better when Mark gets those blocks reeved properly  :} :} :D
