cass how you would work it is have the servo work a latch, with hatch 1 working the front half of the arm, hatch 2 working the other half.

Two hatches can be done with one servo.
Run a brass wire through from each end of a servo arm to the hatch catch.
When you want to release hatch one, the servo pulls back on the wire to
hatch one, and it lets go of the catch. At the same time, the wire to hatch two
would just extend a little further through the catch at hatch two.
The same thing would occur if you wanted to release hatch two first....

Now if you wanted separate servos to open, and then close the hatches,
that could probably be done with cams and springs, in a similar fashion.

You could also use the servo to operate two microswitches, one on either side and each used to operate another small motor such as a servo motor.

Or to answer the actual question use a Y lead between the reciever and the 2 servos :-))

If you want to operate then in unison, yes.

If you want to operate them independantly, unfortunatley not.

The P91 switch from ACTion electronics might do it. Especially if linked to the P96 servomorph in switch mode.

http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/mixers.php

I have no personal connection with, I have just always found Dave to be extremely helpful. And I happen be trawling through the website at the moment looking for bits for myself.

From the website
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
P91 HI-LOAD TWIN SWITCHER
£ 28.00 Incl VAT
PIC-based; 2 separate switched circuits from one proportional R/C channel. Each of the two outputs can be driven as either Latching (Memory) or Non-Latching (Momentary) switches. Adjustable switching points; 10Amps (peak 20A) on each circuit. Designed especially to operate motorised functions such as fire-monitors, bilge pumps and twin-motor bow-thrusters; will also switch 'conventional' loads such as lights and sound simulators. Case size is 63 x 43 x 25mm, and connections are via screw-terminals. Limited functionality when operated from ON/OFF switched channels [e.g. retract gear] - ring for details.

P96 SERVOMORPH
£ 12.00 (£ 11.00 each for 3+) Incl VAT
Connect P96 between the receiver and a servo and you can adjust the travel up to around 160 and the end-to-end speed down to 30 seconds. In Switch mode you can run the servo from one end to the other just using a simple manual or RC switch. Couple two or more in series and you have the perfect driver for cranes, gun turrets, cargo doors and hatches, boat davits - in fact its applications stretch nearly as far as your imagination!
