i believe the standard height of a US navy stantion is 42 inches......joe

Thanks Joe. but the model is quoted as 1/40, 1/39 or 1/36.
I just wanted to know what was supplied with the model.
This refurb is taking on a life of its own and getting deeper and deeper.

The Dumas model of the USS Crockett was designed to a scale of 5/16" equals 1 foot or 1/39 actual size.

On my half scale drawing the stanchion are drawing 9/16ths high, so on the model they should be 1-1/8th high. the rail is .020dia., The stanchions are not placed uniformly apart in fact I don't think any two are the same width apart.
