Took apart prop tube from my deans marine ASRL ,there is only one brass bush on the prop tube,is there meant to be two?and would this be the reason why its a bit noisy ?
Silly question probably but I thought there would/should be two brass bushes to support it at both ends.
help please.

There is usually two bushes, otherwise the end without a bush will rattle and also let in water to the model. Is this in a new build, if so contact the supplier, if not you would be wise to make a new bush.

Hi Brian thanks for that ,It did rattle when I tried it I put loads of grease in to stop it but could still hear it.
Ive been building this for a long time so I dont know if Deans will supply another, tried them though. If not easy enough to make up.
Thanks again Chris

My Deans kit had a prop tube with a sort of double bearing arrangement whereby the sleeve rotates in the tube. OK when it's installed but the sleeve can drop out and get lost which is maybe what's happened here.

Brushes / bearings arrived so that should get rid of the rattle.
